I still can't believe we just won that game. I was 100% certain it was a loss going into the 9th, but was convincing myself 2 out of 3 away ain't bad after 0-2 start at home….then the 9th inning started. Altuve's just a gangster. We just ripped their hearts out and danced on em like a bunch of drunk Comanches in front of 40k fans. Only because I am an Aggie fan, can I relate to the pain Rangers fans must be feeling right now. Amazing.

Altuve is a cold blooded assasin!
I absolutely LOVED that we plunked that ahole Garcia for showing up Verlander.
I loved that Baker got tossed defending his guys. Great pinch hitting in the 9th!

Karma baby. Rip their hearts out. Never give up on these Astros! We are so spoiled by this team and I love it!

If Garcia wasn't such a roided out ****head he could have just wore the one he earned and took his base. But nope, had to ice their closer and cost them the game.

Bryan Abreu has received a two-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for intentionally throwing at Adolis Garca of the Rangers during Friday's Game 5 of the ALCS. Unless appealed, the suspension of Abreu is scheduled to become effective in Sunday's Game 6.

Curious how this all goes down.

One thing I rarely see being discussed is if Garca walks down to first is Abreu suspended? I don't think so. Umps likely issue warnings and nothing happens.

Either way let's finish it off tonight and focus on the World Series.

Isn't it uncommon to have suspensions like this served immediately vs. the following season? I just seem to recall other playoff suspensions that weren't served immediately. Yuli's squinty eye thing? Such BS.

So do you appeal now so he's available today and possibly tomorrow if necessary and risk him being out for World Series games (have to assume appeal denied)? Or say "f it we're gonna win without him" and have him available for WS?

I'd do the former because these next 1/2 games are basically must wins....and because the suspension is such BS to begin with.

It's a little unclear but something appears to have changed in the latest CBA or whatever it's called in baseball.

Part of that agreement was the hearing happening within 48 hours of appeal. It only pushes off to next season if there's no game.

At least from what I've read.

Surely the Astros have some idea of it'll be reduced or even dropped.

Another variable in this is Graveman. If he's healthy enough to be added to the WS roster if we make it that far I think you definitely appeal.

No matter what happens let's just win tonight and let this BS sort itself out however down the road.
