Read this afternoon if we get by the Rangers to meet the Phillies they would have home field advantage since they won 2 of 3 against us earlier this year.

I thought we'd get the advantage as a division winner but apparently it's head to head record in a tie for the World Series.

The team with the higher regular-season win percentage earns the home field, regardless of whether that team won its division title or a Wild Card berth.

Since both teams are 90-72 the head to head might be the next tie breaker

A couple head scratching decisions late in this one.
He hit Singleton instead of Diaz with bases loaded in 8th.
Then decides to not stretch Abreu to the 9th knowing you're probably losing him tomorrow night anyway.

But whatevs...dusty is gonna dusty no matter what anyone says.

I hope Bregman and Verlander locked the doors to the clubhouse and told everyone to call or text their family they weren't coming home tonight.

Then they told staffers to start calling the biggest hotels around and find availability for 30 rooms even if it's The Woodlands or Galveston.

Call a bus company to come pick them up and have some low level staffer go on a beer run as they're staying together as a team tonight like they're on the road.

They can see their family tomorrow night as ALCS Champs or for the rest of the off-season but tonight they're staying together as a team.

Tucker has a higher OBP, SLG and OPS. Mainly due to 3 doubles (Pena has 1) and 8 walks (Pena has 1). Both have been very bad this postseason.

Assuming that this is accurate for the last 7 games, .292 with a .346 OBP and .333 for slugging isn't atrocious
