We went to a game a couple of Sunday's ago and we were making a loop for street parking when homeless guy waved me down because there was a spot near him. Gave him $5, he asked if I had a little more cause he wanted a 12 pack. Appreciated the honesty but honestly was all the cash I had.

IIRC, street metered parking is free after 6 and on weekends…or Sundays…can't remember which.

Interesting, if you look on ESPN at the standings, they give us a higher % chance of making the playoffs than either Seattle or Texas.

Wonder what goes into that %? Been there done that? Remaining schedule is my best guess. The fact we get to wipe the LAST place Yankees butts this weekend at home???

It is nice to see Boston and NY at the bottom of their division.

We have played 2 more games than both of them and both are W's, we have an easier September schedule than both of them, we finally have our full offense back and ramping up, and we are the defending champs.

Anything can happen, but I like our chances.

Rangers schedule is definitely more difficult. At TOR for 4 games, 6 games with Seattle, 3 with us, 3 against MIN and CLE each (who are fighting for AL Central).

They have 3 against the A's but after that the easiest series's's are against the Angels and Red Sox.
