I've been preaching patience with Abreu on 1st all season but I'm about done...if Dubon even shows the slightest skill/promise at 1st then I'm ready to give him a try.

0 home runs this year and only 1 since last August. Average exit velocity 87 mph - better than only 19% of players in the league. I'll take the soft ass hits but he still looks bad. I'll get excited when he starts hitting the ball hard consistently (or at all for that matter).

It's a long season. Maybe he's washed up and this is the new abreu. Maybe not.

But I'd wager most people *****ing to put dubon in for him were *****ing every time dubon was on the field last year…..

Or were saying it should be Hensley at 2B while Altuve was on the mend and cursing Dubon, until they weren't.

Can anyone at the game today confirm fans were doing the wave in the top of the 9th of a 5-4 game?

I swear I saw it happening on TV.

I hate losing but if people were doing the wave in the top of the 9th with a 5-4 lead the baseball gods did what they had to do.
