I enjoyed the Willie show. I know he struggles to be out there but you gotta respect a guy going out there at nearly 87 years old and trying to perform. The novelty of seeing what is sure to be his last rodeo performance is what I'll take away from it. Of course the tickets were free, the beer was cold and the rib was frisky so that helps the overall mood.

We are aiming to get there around 10 also, coming from 90 so may just do the Astro world lot but good to hear that yellow can be good too. Thanks guys
We parked in the yellow lot around 945 on Friday morning. It was obviously a weekday but it was only 1/2 full then.
We got 2nd row in the astroworld lot, east walk over and can take the tram back if the kids are being little ****s when it's time to leave. Good call
Gotta give props, Ms. Morris' performance last night was pretty good for a 9-month pregnant chick.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
So NRG Arena was not super crowded on Saturday and Sunday while I worked my shifts all day. Very strange for the weekend. I assume the coronavirus scare is keeping people away. How was it elsewhere?
The wine garden was jammed up on Saturday and the grounds in general were pretty crowded yesterday, especially after the show let out. Numbers are down though, especially for Tejano Day.
Saturday was slightly down from last year, Sunday was slightly up.
I took the kids yesterday to the carnival and to walk around NRG Center and it seemed like a lot of people were there.
I also think the lineup may be contributing to it because it's a big "meh" this year.
