So, I haven't listened to local sports radio in the morning consistently since In The Loop broke up when Nick headed west, so what's the backstory on this? I tried listening to Josh Innes once, and he was talking about watching a homemade porn video of his dad nailing his mom. So, I haven't turned it back on since. 610 is 99.99999% Texans, so I don't listen to that.

Surprised no one has mentioned the Mattress Mack tie-in to this situation. Apparently, he sponsored 790's complete trip to Minnesota (air travel, hotel rooms, etc.) and actually purchased SB tickets for each of them. You think he's happy about this situation?
As for Innes, I listened to him some back in the day before he got canned and went to Philly and gave him another shot when he came back even though I was pissed about him replacing Palillo. Just can't stand listening to him, he's a childish, ass clown IMO, talented or not.

He sent Jim Mudd to another show to broadcast their takes on his show. It's basically what they did that got their Texans credentials pulled this fall.
Yeah like I said earlier it was a stupid uncalled for prank but it was also Payne flying off the handle and acting like a meathead. It's about what I expect from both of them.

You forget that he's been going in on Payne and Meltzer on shows and podcasts personally for a year or more. It's not like these transgressions are equal. It's radio row, there are going to be people with phones everywhere. Besides that nothing could be made out, you could barely hear the argument between Payne and Innes.
I enjoy Josh when he's just being Josh and not talking trash about other radio personalities or people he has beef with. He's an annoying whiner and that's why I never liked him on 610 because he was constantly in arguments and whining.
I get he does it for publicity but he just sounds like a female hygiene product when he gets in arguments. I think he would do well if he just let stuff roll off his back and concentrate on being funny.

He really needs a Sirius/XM show where he has no outside controls. Unfortunately in the terrestrial radio world there are rules and unwritten rules and he simply likes to color outside the lines.
Something that cracks me up is remembering when he first got his show on 610 and his dad would call in. His dad would just berate and belittle Josh and I would cringe and think "What a horrible father!" Now I realize his dad was 100% spot on.
