Home invader!
Was getting ready for bed Friday night and went into the bathroom and found this exploring the bathroom counter. Just glad I found it instead of my wife. Little guy was literally slithering over my toothpaste tube next to the sink when I opened the door. He was kind of cold so didn't really try to run. I took him into the kitchen after the wife said "just get it out of here" for a photo shoot. Then he got let go outside.

It's definitely a juvenile rat snake but I am pretty sure it is the prairie variety Vs texas. I get both in my area.
Found two of these in Robertson county while cleaning up and clearing some brush this weekend. Both were 7-8" long.

10-4. That's what I thought initially but the pattern/coloration looked a little off. I haven't seen many of the Slowinkis so wasn't sure.
Crappy pic from a video but I got to watch a blue indigo for a little bit this weekend……love their coloring especially on sunny days.
They're tough to differentiate when they're young. Corns will have a stark black and white checkered venter, even when young.
Window is closed. No really easy paths in. Maybe a momma rat snake had a nest in the attic or somewhere near/in the house or some it has been so dry, my house is where the food and water is?
