Home invader!
Was getting ready for bed Friday night and went into the bathroom and found this exploring the bathroom counter. Just glad I found it instead of my wife. Little guy was literally slithering over my toothpaste tube next to the sink when I opened the door. He was kind of cold so didn't really try to run. I took him into the kitchen after the wife said "just get it out of here" for a photo shoot. Then he got let go outside.

It's definitely a juvenile rat snake but I am pretty sure it is the prairie variety Vs texas. I get both in my area.
Found two of these in Robertson county while cleaning up and clearing some brush this weekend. Both were 7-8" long.

Love the green tails when they are small - they use them to lure prey.
