On my run heard then saw a PBWS by a pond, started rattling its tails on the leaves for a good 30 seconds, first time a water snake has ever done that around me.
Saw a 18+ inch dekays brown snake, easily the longest one I have ever seen in my life. Had to do a double take to confirm it was not a garter snake or something similar.
