I have a Rugged Oculus in jail since certification on 2/6/2023 which is 262 days, but that one is on a trust with 2 RP. My Octane 9 was Approved 8/1/2023 after 345 days on the same trust. My brother's name is more common than mine and it might be getting hung up in NICS. Looks like switching to individual was the right thing to do.

I applied for my first NFA item in 2015, and have been through the process about 9 times since then so I feel like I have been doing this long enough to not get mad about the delays. But I have to admit when I see all you knuckleheads that applied after me this last time (February) get your stamps I am starting to get pissed.

When I went to pickup the cans from my Friday post, I inquired about the Rugged Oculus that had been in jail since early February. Turns out it was approved on September 17. I never got an eforms notification, call from the FFL, or any notice from Silencer shop. The only reason I even asked was because Silencershop did a system update last week and the orders page (but not the tax stamp page) changed and showed it was "complete".

FFL had an approved Form 4 and sent me with a copy, but that's the only proof I have. Wondering if I need to contact the ATF and see if they can send me the eforms notification with attached stamp? I like having the ability to look them up in my email and all I have right now is a printed copy.

I walked out with three cans unexpectedly, so I wasn't complaining at the time.

ATF guy today said 8-9 months for Form 4 trusts. Mine is at 8-9 mths (submitted Feb 2023). He said should be any day now.

My last one was a gigantic cluster that took over 280 days. I paid for this one the same time I picked up the first. If it's any consolation, I won't get the rifle for another 5 months because I have to wait on the stock to be made.
