90 days is almost twice the average time, so sounds about right.

Or I guess I should say, when I submitted mine earlier this year, eForm 1s were taking 30-45 days. And that was confirmed by the posts SilencerShop was making on their Instagram account. And when I called the ATF I was told the amnesty Form 1s were "when we get to them", when I asked why some other are going so quickly.

You might have gotten bad info, or they lied. My amnesty Form 1 was approved in roughly 90 days.

Ha! I wish. Dealer offers layaway so the impact isn't felt all at once. I do, however, have another Surefire I bought in 2006. Love it. Decided I needed a new one.

Just got my 2nd one approved from the BOGO sent in as a EForm 4 Trust on 12/22/2022, exactly 30 days after the first one that I submitted on the same day. 217 days on the first and 247 days on the second.

Brutal. I have a Form 4 for a Nomad L-Ti which I e-filed with a Trust through SS this past Monday. Starting to dread the upcoming wait time based on what I am reading on here.

I felt like my Form 1 (Amnesty) got approved quickly and fairly (about 90 days). My first Form 4 (Wolfman) took just over 13 months, but it was before e-file was available.

Submitted a Form 1 (trust) through Silencer Shop on 4/27. Have just been checking their dashboard this whole time. As of this morning, it still says waiting on ATF approval. So, I logged into eforms.atf and found out it was approved back on 6/12. What the ****.

I also submitted a form 4 the same way and can't find it anywhere on the eforms website.

I have the same issue with my first Form 4, done through a local FFL a few weeks ago. I guess that's not normal. So now I'm annoyed.

Well after researching, I guess the form 4 won't show up on my atf login, but how the hell can I check on it? I now know that the silencer shop dashboard isn't up to date.

That is weird. I got an email from the eforms site that mine was approved about 15 minutes before I got an email from Silencer Central. Did the email from the eforms site for your approval go to your junk mail maybe?

You can call ATF and I encourage you to do so. But if it was submitted in April 2023, you probably still have a few months to wait.

Yeah I figured I still had a ways to go, but seeing others get approved quickly makes me wonder. Since the silencer shop portal appears to be worthless, I wanted to check for myself

The Silencer Central system isn't any better. They send an email every month to taunt you into thinking it got approved, only to open the email to it saying "Still under review". They are not doing any active checking with ATF on your behalf, they are just comparing their record of the submittal to their list of approvals. My first one, submitted via paper forms back in December 2020 was approved by ATF, but SC never received the stamp/approval, so they just kept sending me "in progress" emails. I finally called ATF only to find out that it had been approved over six months ago. That is why I encourage everybody to call.

I called and they told me mine was still pending. Said the average right now is 241 days. I'm at 140, so another few months to the average. Obviously can go way longer like others here.

Sucks for me because mine is an integrally suppressed barrel so my rifle has been gone. Granted I only dropped it off a few weeks ago, but I'm up a creek until I get it back.

As of the beginning of August, the gap between electronic and paper for Form 4s was about 96 extra days for individuals and 52 extra days for trusts.

Day 256. Just talked to someone and they said it's pending. But said average wait time is 190 days. I asked why I am 66 days past average and he just said some take longer than others. So stupid. This truly is the dumbest damn rule/law we have.
