Avg trust on reddit is ~280. But there's people who get theirs back in 180-220 as well. Wait times are all kinds of screwy right now apparently
Yesterday, Just ordered a Salvo 12 and Octane 45 to take advantage of the SiCo BOGO deal for a free Omega 300. Decided to try individual this time, hope it's quicker! Let the wait begin...
I'm now at 304 days for eform 4 trust. Just got the heart racing email from Silencer Central that said still under review. It gets me excited every time.
Call ATF directly. I sat receiving those emails for nearly a year after mine was approved by ATF because the approval never made it to SC or SC lost it in their system. I won't wait past when everybody else is getting their approved again without calling to check on it.civil08 said:

I called them directly two weeks ago and was told its pending.
I purchased 3 cans January 13th, 2023. Trust.
Hoping they allow me to have them before it gets too cold this year.

I'm all too familiar with those emails from them. Definitely gets your hopes up. For what it's worth, I've gotten two cans from SC.
The first was a paper form for a Banish 30. I never got an email from the ATF on that one, but did from SC. My Banish 22 was done through them with the e-file. That time, the ATF DID send me the approval email.

It's a fun little plinker. Gets dirty ass hell, but nothing some time in the sonic cleaner and elbow grease cant fix. You are pretty close. Mine took about 8 months.
Take a look at the FN 502, You can get it for about $550 or so out the door. Comes with a 10 and 15 round mag and threaded barrel. You can train a lot of different ways with this thing for cheap (DA/SA, ambi, iron vs. dot, etc. Its also a good way to train for carrying an FN 509 and others from that series.
It's also just plain fun to break it out with family and friends at the range.

I am planning to put it on an m&p 15-22 for starters but may need to get a .22 pistol as well. All I have for .22 pistols right now is a 50+ year old revolver i inherited from my dad.

Honestly I think that they intentionally process some recent submissions once wait times get outside of whatever metric. Then, once wait times come down to "acceptable" they pump the brakes again.

No, not yet, but I wasn't exactly rushing it at the moment. I had two more that I wanted to get certified before I called. I got them certified today at lunch. I've got an oculus on wait from January as well. Hoping for a miraculous batch approval, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm at 6 months. Submitted as a trust through Scheels. They did all the submissions for me. Can I check on that online somewhere?
