Approval times are all over the place right now
I looked at that Reddit mega thread listing approval times. The top one when I looked was submitted June 23, 2022. The next three down were submitted in September, October, and November!

I submitted mine June 24. Just talked to my dealer (Burdett & Son in CS) today, and the guy I talked to (their NFA person wasn't in) said that they're right now getting approvals for submissions they did late May and early June.

Don't let that deter your hopes. I called on Friday midday and ATF told me it showed as pending, then got the email from them that Sunday evening that I was approved. So it happens quick when it does.

Problem I have with the amnesty is there is basically no way to add it to trust. So you register it as an individual then can't let anyone else have access it's all so stupid

What I don't get is why it takes so long for a 2nd or 3rd Form 4 suppressor on the same trust to get approved via efile. Those should be almost instantaneous...the trust has already been approved and the suppressor is a known model. Should be a quick background check to make sure the trust members haven't been added to any lists, and then approval.

There was. You had to have proof the firearm was owned by the trust prior to the rule publish date in the federal register.

Never been asked. But just in case, I have a digital file on my phone for traveling or when at the range. I also keep a hard copy in my safe for record keeping. I use a three ring binder. It's simple, but works well.

I'm at 270 days for single member trust...this is beyond ridiculous.
I'm over 300 days on an individual.

I filed my eForm on June 23.

I just submitted my application for GI Bill Benefits. VA says 30 days.

Anyone want to make bets on which one I see first?

So my 9 month mark will be Sept 1, 2023, which also happens to be the date I move back to Texas from NC. If I don't receive approval by then, I'm told I have to start the entire form 4 process over from the beginning. Unbelievable. Seems like approval could come and a simple ffl to ffl transfer would be reasonable. So, I either start the process over or I travel back to NC to pick up the suppressor.

I'm not sure, though I would think using the 24 month exception would be faster than doing with a new trust.

But that is thinking logically, and we all know how the atf feels about logic

I finally got around to calling about my eForm 1 SBR and the rep said they have no idea why it's still showing as pending and to email them about it. Has anyone else run into this and did you actually get a response?

Dealing with it now. I'm at ~95 days. Emailed yesterday and this was the response:

I waited for a stamp from atf for almost 3 months after approval. Emailed them multiple times, never heard back. Called my rep, filled out 2 forms, and the atf sent it to me the next day.

That entire organization is a bunch of clowns
