Guy I talked to at Silencer Central said they expect it to pick up after they get all the January/February (first bunch of e-files) out of the way. Said they're seeing a quick turnaround on the more recent stuff but 120-150 days is average right now (at least that's what I recall him saying).

Valid… I'm just wondering why you can't ask them to provide some sort of document that says they can photograph an entire record of a stores 4473s? I know they can access them but taking pictures seems to cross a line, no?

I'm just asking and hate the abuse of power by our government, particularly under this administration.

In all seriousness, he said she was annoyed that his records weren't digital - but that isn't a requirement and she could have overstepped her bounds by snapping pics. Also took some with her personal phone. That could be cause for some recourse (but I wouldn't bet on it).

From what I've heard, you have to act like you would if you just got pulled over for going 90 in a school zone when they show up now. They have the authority to suspend your FFL right there on the spot on a whim. Asking for anything like that is a bad idea, and based on the interview this b**ch was a regular goosestepping true believer.

A lot of folks saying you're likely to wait less if you filed later.

Mine was filed right when the ATF decided all of the online retailers were doing eforms wrong and had to start over. FFLs then spent a couple weeks figuring out how the hell they could make it work and then after they got it squared away there was a huge instant influx of new forms.

Called to check status this morning. Was told f4 wait is 120 days and f1 is 60-80.

Both numbers have gone up since I last checked status. Feels like I'm chasing a ghost…. One that already had my $600

Day 90 today. Called dealer to see when they were having stuff come back from right now. Was told beginning of feb. I certified in may, so I guess I have another 90 days.

Apparently my FFL somehow forgot to file everything in April.

He let me know today, and apologized profusely for the screw up, but it just got filed today. So no my wait start over again....

This happened to me too. I did the paperwork in November (paper form 4) and it would have been approved in my December batch but they didn't notice the **** up until April. So now I'm waiting on the eform approval.

This is for a form 1 Short Barreled Rifle, not a can. My 2 cans are still in jail.

I have 1 at 90 days; was hoping for a batch approval but doesn't appear to be the case

Small.

I filled out all the paperwork online with the 1st owner and got the Trust notarized, then went to their shop the next week after work to do fingerprints and photos with the 2nd owner.

I think between the two it just got missed/forgotten.
