Played/finished the 1st one. It was just OK. I played the enhanced edition on PS5... really good looking game if nothing else. But the combat mechanics or weapons, for whatever reason, didn't grab me like I thought it would. It was a cool game, I just thought I would like it more than I did.

Forbidden West is on my to do list, but not sure if/when I would get to it. Pretty sure I heard they made Aloy a lesbian, because, OF COURSE THEY DID! Doesn't really bother me and wouldn't keep me from playing the game, but it's not doing the game any favors when it's already buried in the backlog.

lol. I didn't know this. And after I specifically called this game out on other thread as a good series with female protagonist.

Playing Phantom Blade Zero and this game is phenomenal

Some of the best combat feel in the genre

Glad to see there's other Dragonwilds enjoyers on this thread. Got the game when it originally launched in beta last year on PC, then got it for console when it released earlier this year. I've sunk an ungodly amount of time into that game. Jagex has taken thousands of my dollars from RuneScape, and it's worth it.

Yes, hearing very good things about this as well.

To the backlog it goes..... pretty much my default answer for the next 3-6 months while I play through GTA.

Monthly membership basically since the game started.

Membership was $5/month at the beginning and is now around $16/month

This game is pretty awesome so far. Spiritual successor to FromSoft's King's Field, which was the precursor to the Souls series. This game is basically a modernized version of a PS2/PS3 era Souls like game, and it is pretty damn fantastically done for what they are going for. The gameplay is intentionally not as complex or advanced as modern games, but the atmosphere, world design and gameplay (even simpler by today's standards) is all really well done.

Highly recommend!

Welp, I discovered a rogue-like custom campaign set for Starcraft 2. All of them but with rogue like elements. Choose buffs and debuffs every mission that carry every over to the end of the campaign. It's amazing.

Down the rabbit hole I go...

God of war 2 is kicking my ass. I finished main story and am now trying to defeat berserker king. I can't get him past half way down on easiest difficulty.
