Apparently my nephew (or one of his friends) was able to mess up his Switch in less than 10 days -- it looks like the USB-C port inside the dock has been pushed in, so now it won't charge.
Any recommendations for repairs in the Dallas area? My go-to phone repair guy says they don't work on them.
Either they matched Amazon or Amazon matched them.boy09 said:
Walmart currently has Pro Controllers for $50 and the Switch Dock Set for $60. Just picked up a dock for myself.
Not a new game, but Tropical Freeze is coming to Switch May 4th.Quote:

This one has been available for a while now, and has great reviews. I think the 8bitdo one is supposed to go for $20 though instead of $25.Bryan98 said:

TLDR: This adapter lets you use bluetooth controllers with your Switch, such as PS4 controllers and the latest round of Xbox One controllers (but not earlier XB1 controllers, including the Elite). If it works well, that's going to take care of controllers three and four for me.
Thanks, I had no idea! Yeah, the 8bitdo one is $20, and looks cooler if one cares. Mine arrived today and I'll check it out when I get home.boy09 said:This one has been available for a while now, and has great reviews. We got both sets for the kids yesterday (11 and 8) and it has been a hit. I've also been impressed; I guess I didn't appreciate the capabilities of the Joy-con controllers, which obviously is the heart of what drives the toys and games you build.Southside AG said:

One thing I didn't realize is that you need one adapter per controller, so if I want to add two controllers, I'll need another adapter. I'm not sure how I'll want to arrange that with the Switch's ports, if I do go that way.
Also, I somehow failed to notice that this adapter supports WiiU Pro Controllers, which would seem more natural to use with the Switch than the PS4 and Xbox controllers I mentioned before; I might use those instead.
