Get the largest SD card you can and go digital. It's nice to be able to scroll through your games and boot up any of them without having to carry around extra cartridges.
+1 for digital.

If you leave your switch on plane in Belize when you get a new one all your downloads are still available and the cloud saved progress data is still there... and while you still feel dumb, at least you didnt lose all your physical copies of the games you bought

My son dropped his switch, now has a pretty good crack in the screen. Is this repairable at any of the cell phone repair places?

Would just call around and ask. I don't imagine it's terribly difficult to do it yourself either if so inclined.

I believe Nintendo will do repairs also.

Just picked one up. Downloaded the legacy consoles, FC24, and now debating main title. Zelda? Smash Bros?

Also would love any recommendations for games for young kids (6 and younger).

Agreed, got that when it came out for my daughter who was 6 at the time. At 8, she's now beaten it 4 times and she is around 90% completed on the last one.

FYI, another one she loves is Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It took her a bit to get used to the turn based strategy battles, but she's been off to the races and is on her 2nd or 3rd play through.

Agreed. I started Link's Awakening last weekend and it reminds me of that with some of the Tears of the Kingdom abilities.

For me the biggest surprise was the lack of Metroid Prime 2 Remastered. I figured with only a year to go until MP4, they'd want to get 2-3 out in 2024.

Which parts of the original Metroid Prime did you work on?

Did you work on Corruption? Loved both of those games. Never got around to playing MP2. Not enough allowance
