I got it for the Steam Deck. Single player works but multiplayer is broken.

If you leave your switch on plane in Belize when you get a new one all your downloads are still available and the cloud saved progress data is still there... and while you still feel dumb, at least you didnt lose all your physical copies of the games you bought
My son dropped his switch, now has a pretty good crack in the screen. Is this repairable at any of the cell phone repair places?
Would just call around and ask. I don't imagine it's terribly difficult to do it yourself either if so inclined.

For single player Zelda BOTW is the way. Smash Bros for multiplayer fun

Lego games are good for little kids like that.

I've heard Kirby is really good for younger kids. Probably going to try that for my 4 and half year old soon.
Kirby forgotten land has been great for my 5 year old
Play a few Mario games and then get super Mario maker 2. My 5 year old loves it.
