I have the backup. I also have a MC server, but I don't have the bandwidth to support more than a few people working on it at a time, so I haven't put it up since Wee sent me the files.

If some of you are able to come up with a good hosting solution, let me know and I will provide a way for you to get the backup.

Yes, I still have the files (about a 5GB file currently in my Google Drive)... I'll contact cuppy and see what our options are. If things don't pan out with him we can discuss more since there seems to be some renewed interest.

Ok - so cuppy is wondering what kind bandwidth we would need for the server. I did run the server but the only info I have on the plan was that it was a 1.5gb RAM plan which was recommended by them for hosting about 20 people. Any of you nerds know what kind of bandwidth a server hosting a 5gb sized world with say a dozen people would need?

I'm hunting around online looking for some estimates, but this seems like a unique situation because of the size.

Thanks for the links, I wonder if they start having lag issues when the builds get big. Minecraft is a memory hog because of the chunk loading for each player. And our chunks are pretty full.

I think I found us a server. For free. It's been up 10 years, and belongs to a non-profit in the CS area that promotes "don't be a jerk to each other" online PC gaming. It has plenty of resources. If you can share the backups with me I will get it loaded and testing.
