We'll probably start over entirely with the renovation. With any luck they'll put out floor plans for the entire thing like they did with the Olsen renovation. The challenge will of course be the phasing of the different parts of the renovation if they don't put out all the floor plans at once.

Having the floor plans helped out a lot on Olsen, though it's impossible to be exact in Minecraft. You aim more for looking right rather than measuring right when you're working with one-meter blocks, but the Olsen build is measured as close as possible.

I almost always have to reset the server when I whitelist someone.

Working beautifully.

I've tried adding to the whitelist from in-game using /whitelist add NAME and that seems to work, but adding manually from the website interface doesn't seem to work.

Need to test it some more.

Arg, in Korea for 2.5 weeks for training and likely won't be able to help in the build. I expect to see lots of progress by the time I get back. My gf showed Pman's video to some of the Ags in her office and they were impressed by what we were doing, keep up the good crafting and see y'all when I get back. ALL HAIL THE WAND!!!

Customink has always been the way to go, but you'd have to set up a paypal account and mail them yourself. They will make 1 at a time, or you could send the design to people and they could order their own.

It would be cool for y'all to do this project in Google Sketchup so that it could look more accurate. That software is a little trickier, though.

They added a cannon under the flagpoles on Kyle Field, changed some tables in the Chicken, added a pool table in the Chicken, and put a picture of a cooked chicken outside the Chicken.

I tell you this in case you want to take any of it down. They tried to make some additions that wouldn't mess up anything.

If you gave them some tasks, like roads to build, I'm sure they would oblige.

As for building, if your boys want, they can pick a building and use google maps (45° view) and build it. Otherwise, just lay roads where ever they are on the map, or make trees. The canon and other stuff sound great - we've been concentrating on the big buildings and don't always get the little details, feel free to add! If it's there in real life, we want it in the game

Looks like server is currently down. It was down yesterday too. I assume it was due to new release of software version 1.5.0 yesterday. Anyone able to fix? thanks.

Our host hasn't update to 1.5 yet - you'll have to stay at 1.4.7 until they do.

If you downloaded the update, you can roll back to 1.4.7 by downloading and installing the previous version here: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_4_7/minecraft.jar

Our host - multiminecraft is working on getting craftbukkit and their mods updated. Once it's update we'll get the server updated as well.
