What would it entail to expand the map Wee?

I knew you would be asking again soon... Well, it would take downloading the map area, resizing, importing into a schematic program, uploading to server and pasting into the map (all the while praying it doesn't crash the server).

All that to say, I'm going to try and do that tonight - but I'm at work so it will be iffy.

Minecraft dummy here but if you have downloaded game, would headsets work with this?

Haven't played in a while, but not that I know of. I usually used Skype whenever I'd play online with friends.

Got tired of buildings, so I did the Century Tree instead. Feel free to add on, it could definitely be bigger, but I got tired of that too.

The progression is looking great! I haven't been able to work on any of it in a while. I've been busy every weekend. I'll have to get a progression video up for sure sometime soon. I plan on releasing one every month.

Part of the fun of MC is being restricted to one-meter cubes for pretty much everything.

Don't worry about being slow learning stuff. Most, if not all of us have been learning since we started the Aggieland 2.0 build. I know I didn't know any of the stuff that I am able to do now with the wand and even last night I figured a few things out that I had been trying to do the last week or so. And when guys are on feel free to ask questions and we will give what answers we can.

Also, Wee_ag can we get a list of the Texag-> MC names on the front page so we can know who most people are?

Are there any mods out there that let you upload pictures to a server? Such as the A&M logo on bluebell park or the seal on reed arena?

I look forward to learning more about the building process and such. And I personally think that adding smaller size blocks would just make things more complicated. I actually like the charm and feel of the "blocky" texture. Even though from what I've heard, building the berm has been tough.

That being said, how the hell will we build this?

I would say that to build that you just make a triangle with some glass blocks and call it good. I had some of those type issues with the MSC and found a decent work around that looks alright. we can't get exact, but can get close.

The reality of Minecraft. Take a look at the back side of the right field berm on Olsen Field. You'll see what it looks like when Brad gets sick of trying to make one-meter blocks look like irregular slopes.

So was traveling across the map earlier and encountered a glitchy chunk. As a result I apparently found the old nexus from the last server. It includes Engineering, Faculty and Businessmen Tutorial sections. Looks pretty awesome. If you want to know where it is ask me or Texag. We will direct you to it.

Its a good thing that Aggieland is as flat as it gets

yea ETex that was my doing... I had BIG plans for the Aggieland map once it was complete, but everything kinda fell apart and our server host crashed, instantly erasing weeks of work... so I sorta rage quit.

Glad to see this is back up and running!

Random thoughts on the Aggieland Build:

1. Street lines where traffic travels the same direction should be white, not yellow. Don't really care, just pointing it out

2. some buildings/landscaping on Northside need to be raised by one block.

3. Last time I was in CS, fish pond was completely below ground, but on our build it's above. Again, don't care because it looks cool and I don't want to undo anything someone else has done.

4. Generally speaking, i haven't been working too much on interiors. I think the "cooler" buildings should have interiors (Kyle, Rec Center, Olsen, Reed, Sbisa) but as a general rule, I'm ignoring interiors.

5. Everyone is doing an awesome job and it's hard to believe I'd never done multiplayer Minecraft before. This is way better than single player survival. I bet with our new editions we can get every building done by the end of March.
