I expected Eberflus to blitz more than four down lineman more than never. Or at least that's what it feels like. We don't have a game wrecking edge anymore, so you're going to have to manufacture it at certain points and I don't think he's doing that.
Watching Eagles-KC. Somehow NFL referees forget the most basic aspects of the rulebook when the Eagles run the tush push - rules like not allowing OL to line up in the neutral zone and false starts.
The tush push needs to be banned.
All it requires is going back to 2005, but if they aren't going to put that rule back in, how about we at least enforce the most basic rules of football that do still exist?

They HAVE to do something about that play. The Eagles are allowed to do whatever they want (false start, line up in the neutral zone, push without forward progress being called as long as they want).

I don't want the play banned, I want the rules enforced as written when they run it. The guards always line up in the neutral zone and they false start all the time. When other teams try it, the refs call it. The Eagles are allowed to run it the way they do when nobody else consistently is.

bc noone else has Hurts- he cant pass for crap but he can get a yard
It's been rehashed a ton, but Hurts is built for it. Squats a ton. Only 6'1" so low center of gravity relative to a lot of QBs. The play also kind of beats the **** out of him to a degree, but he's built to take it. Many qb's are not.

The interior linemen ran that play 5 times in one quarter today. Let's have them vote on it. It will eventually be banned, and safety will be the reason. Book it.

Would not be surprised if we see some roster movement today. That defensive performance won't happen again. They'll have more games of being bad, but not incompetent.
Some thoughts:
- Always happier on Monday after a win than a loss, but woof - that defensive performance was abysmal; hopefully they see some things they can clean up in film, but Eberflus has to blitz more to generate more pressure
- Dak played great again - he owns the Giants
- I actually really like our running game for the most part; really good concepts and blocking; Javonte looking good enough to carry the load so far
- Hopefully Cooper Beebe won't miss too much time
- Brandon Aubrey - enough said!
I think I mentioned this previously but the biggest pick-up this off-season was the coach from AZ. They have a competent running game with a couple of JAG's in the backfield. It at least keeps opposing defenses honest.

Yeah, that was bad. I don't like the zone heavy Tampa 2, to begin with but they don't even play it competently.
Yeah that defensive performance from the secondary is how you lose your job in the NFL 101. Was also an atrocious example of how to NOT play zone defense. We won't see that happen again.
Cooper Beebe set to miss half the season now with a high ankle sprain. Thank goodness we're deep on the o line.
Cowboys offense only has 1 real weakness... we don't have a legit RB1. And it's funny, because we've been begging for them to spend legit draft capital on a RB for a couple years now. Javonte Williams still has a little something, but he needs to be our Tashard Choice 3rd down back, not the headline guy.
The defense is a whole other story... there are some things they can and should correct... but man, our LBers and Safeties are just bad players.

Not really sure where he's projected in the draft, but would not mind having that Notre Dame RB on the Cowboys.
Which one? They're both awesome haha. Love is a late first early early second round guy as of right now. Not sure on Price but he seems like a good third or fourth round guy who's great in the NFL.
