Allgier, Etienne and Breece Hall being the guys that could be solid upgrades. Dowdle is unlikely but also a nice option. The real fantasy is a trade for Achane. The cowboys would literally have the best offensive weapons (assuming they franchise tag Pickens).

Diggs is either washed or can't be a professional and get over his boyfriend being gone. I'm going to guess the former but I don't know. I would think if he could still play at a high level, hang on to him and see if you can get something for him. But maybe he was so much of a titty baby that he forced their hand.

Ken Walker is a homerun hitter who strikes out alot.

Player A:
149 rush attempts.
3.9 Yards before contact
2.7 yards after contact
67% success rate.

Player B:
190 rush attempts
1.8 yards before contact
2 yards after contact
30% success rate.

I wouldnt be really wanting player B if both those guys were on the same team. Breece hall was 2.5 ybc and 1.8 yac on a much worse offense.

Player A is Charbonet.
Player B is Walker.

While I agree typically YBC is an offensive line thing, it also is an indication of players hitting a hole quickly and getting 2-3 yards. Versus dancing behind an offensive line and getting hit closer to the line of scrimmage

Sounds like the final straw for the Cowboys and Trevon was that after the Washington game on Christmas, he asked to stay in DC since he had family there. He was denied and told to fly back to Dallas with the team. Apparently Trevon stayed in DC anyway.

Also The Ticket was talking about the "deez nuts" moment from last year. I forgot about that. Seriously, **** that guy. Glad he's gone.

Don't see any way Bain or Downs makes it to us. Styles maybe but he's a guy who is gonna test off the charts at the combine and may rise. I don't want Bailey, he's got the traits that tend to correlate with busts at pass rusher.

He's a pass rush specialist who doesn't have the traits that typically allow guys to thrive in that role in the NFL (long arms and the ability to convert speed to power). And because he's too small and too finesse to ever realistically be a good enough run defender to be an every down edge, you're basically drafting a situational pass rusher with a skill set that doesn't typically lend itself to being an elite NFL pass rusher. You gonna use a first round pick on a guy who is only on the field 20-25 snaps a game and averages 5-6 sacks a year? Cause that is the type of player Bailey projects as.

You make a bad faith argument and you spew it on here when you're safe to do so. It'll be what 12 months before you have to potentially worry about being wrong? How brave if you with this take.

How much does Darnold make? How good is SEA defense? Maybe if Dak made $30m and we could afford to beef up a defense and rely on a strong run game and strong defense he could win a Super Bowl. But Dak won't ever win a playoff game against a decent team the way he gets paid and the way they use him.

Where were you the last time Dak had something on the line in the playoffs?

The idea that Dak is the problem is a take so unworthy of intellectual retort at this point that the only reasonable way to address it is with mockery. We've somehow arrived at a point in our society where we believe all arguments are worthy of discussion and mocking someone for their ideas is a moral or logical failing, but it's just nonsense. Some ideas are so ridiculous that mockery is both appropriate and good.

There is nothing Dak could do to ever sway you. He could win a title and you'd come up with some reason as to why he doesn't get the credit.

A couple posts above criticizes what would be Quinnen Williams and Maxx Crosby for what we got for Parso'ns if we were to pull it off.

He could win the title and it would sway me.

He's actually won me over for years during the regular season - you can go back on cowboy threads and see for yourself.

You are a prisoner of the moment. You relish regular season super stars putting up huge stats. Dak is your hero.

But when it matters. When a defense schemes against him to shut him down, he has failed nearly 100% of the time? He's messed up in every big moment I can recall. Terrible picks/decisions.

But hey. He led the league in passing yards this year with a terrible team. Somehow only 30 TDs tho with thise 2 superstar WRs and Ferg and a good ground game.
