Keeping both firsts in this upcoming draft is huge, given we're trying to fix the defense as fast as possible. Also because this year our pick is gonna be a higher one than next year most likely.

I mean, you definitely don't feel like they are squandering away the gains from the Micah trade. I still like this more than paying Micah what GB paid him.

We really really really need to hit on our two 1st rounders in this years draft. Pretty sure we now don't have a 2nd or a 3rd rounder this year.

These moves will not get us into the playoffs this year, and I don't think they were intended to. Otherwise any moves would have been for secondary and pass rush help. These moves will help over the next couple of seasons. But the focus now needs to be to address the secondary and edges in the draft and/or FA signings.

Is it just me or were the Cowboys more efficient on offense when CeeDee was out?

Also it seemed the offense moved better when they featured Pickens when CeeDee was on the field.

I know it seems crazy but I noticed it.

Last week, CD looked like he wasn't quite ready, to me.

He looked better last night but on a couple of those one's that got broken up, he was a bit lazy coming back to Dak and the DB beat him.

I think the biggest issue last night is that the OL had a really bad night. IDK if that was the first group being together for the first time in a while and they were out of sync, but they were not good, at all.

Offense was definitely off... but as it's been said already... it's kinda hard sometimes when you know your defense is terrible. I think the offense was pressing all night seeing how the defense was playing.

It's one thing for the Aggies offense/defense to play complementary football at times... they can have each others back because they know it's only a matter of time before the other side steps up. Not the same thing when you know your D is gonna give up 30+ every game.

I k ow that this prob doesn't de enough this year, but if you can add a couple more pieces this next year, that's a defense that should be much better moving forward.

He forgot Revel also. Isn't he expected back that week?

This is probably just cope, but if the defense is healthy going in to next year, it should be at least average. Holes would just be a better pass rusher, a better safety, and maybe a better nickel.

Long time until draft but I think we really need to draft/sign LBer, S & CB early. I think find a good solid LBer in FA and go S & CB w those first two choices. Would love for Caleb downs to be there for our first pick.

We need to look at the draft and FA and if we can't get a + player at S/CB we need to look at trading for one with our picks this year.

We don't need development guys. Our team's time is the next 2 years and they need to go for it.

Agreed the defensive personnel is getting big upgrades in the coming weeks.

But Flus has to go... You can tell the team has no faith in what he's telling them and the schemes he's calling.

I think he ( Flus) will back for sure if they even make a slight improvement the rest of the season with the new players and the ones coming back. They don't want a 5th new d-cord in 6 years. My guess is he will have a say in who they draft, and any free agents , they aquire next off season.
