so GD stupid to put themselves in a situation where he gets away. at least we paid a RB and LB though

I can't believe this organization decided to pay a RB and potential let a top tier WR & CB leave in a league that has been trending pass heavy for a while now.
Paying a RB a record salary for his second deal is never a good move financially. Saying you don't anticipate Zeke being less productive after all those carries is like saying you don't anticipate a 20 year old female gymnast to miss the next Olympic team in 4 years. They are both a lock to happen.FTAggies said:
You mean pay someone like Zeke who was pretty much our entire offense for 3 years, whilst having a quarterback who had gone a stretch of double digit games without passing over 200 yards? There's no way to anticipate that our offense would have completely flipped to a passing attack this past year. The truth is the cowboys still don't completely believe in Dak sure as hell not at over 35 a year. Nor do they think Jones who has almost no turnovers should get 20 million a year. Hindsight is 20/20 about Zeke and jaylon Smith.
Well you were half right anyway.Macarthur said:Take Dak's contract out of it. They let Amari and Jones walk. That is a huge failure, IMO.Bingo Bango Bongo said:I think it's difficult to make this assessment without knowing what Dak is asking. The offer they reportedly put on the table is extremely fairMacarthur said:
Hard to express how badly Stephen has handled this.
