It should not be renewed. I can't fathom how the hate of one man brings so many people to say and do terrible things.
"They" in the context of my post refers to dumbasses that think by taking trillions of our dollars and spending it on crap that only hurts the American people will somehow stop the earth from melting. The Kraken said:Science Denier said:I can affect weather just as much as client change activists can. The political rants are bad enough….but then you have the conspiracy nuts claiming weather manipulation either via seeding or HAARP.
Who is "they"? How did "they" affect this particular weather event?
I'm a little late on this but this is why even a couple of inches of rain triggers flash floods here in the Arizona desert. The water does not absorb and just starts running to the lowest point. We got 1.5 inches the other night and the streets were full. For us that could be all the rain we get for a full year.torrid said:Interesting what he said about the baked ground allowing the water to run off even faster. I would have thought parched ground would absorb a good bit of water.FTACo88-FDT24dad said:
If you're interested in understanding the role that hill country geology plays in creating the conditions that make it possible/probable for severe flash flooding like we saw on July 4/5, this is a really good video. 100% apolitical.

They trying to put same blame on Trump for the rain, that Biden earned for lack of response to a hurricane. In all fairness I'm not sure Biden knew it rained.

Quote:
The Upper Guadalupe River Authority was created in 1939 by the Forty-sixth Texas Legislature "to control, develop, store, preserve and distribute" the waters of the upper Guadalupe and its tributaries. Because of problems unique to the hilly terrain and a narrow drainage basin in the Guadalupe headwater area, the creating act limited this conservation and reclamation district specifically to Kerr County.
1989 the directors approved a significant tax increase to fund the installation and maintenance of the Kerr County flood-alert system. The authority is governed by a nine-member board of directors appointed by the governor for six-year overlapping terms. Administrative offices are in Kerrville.

I'd be curious if that POS Dr. treated her patients differently based on her assumptions of the politics of their parents. Sounds like she was crazy enough to do that.
It just so happens her license expires the end of November. Something tells me her renewal may be a bit more troublesome.

I get the frustration, but that's definitely a case if you've got to read the room. Nobody cares about your opinion or review of the press conference.
Democrats using dead children to further a political agenda is the least surprising thing ever. it will backfire on them just like it did at Uvalde.Rapier108 said:

Not clicking on that as I don't want to get pissed off, but I can't despise liberals anymore that I do after these last few days. The LA riots, trying to harm police officers with rocks, etc IMO pale in comparison to things I've seen from liberals these last couple of days. Maybe because it hits too close to home for me, but their behavior is downright disgusting. I can't imagine being a parent involved in this tragedy and seeing some of the crap they've been putting out. I truly pray that none of the parents or anyone affected by this flood that lost a family member does not come across some of these Tik Tok videos or articles from some of these scum politicians.

And then you see other liberals try to defend it with "im a liberal and haven't seen a single post that supports the death of children." They just completely turn a blind eye to it.

The media is the main culprit of why these people have so much hate in their hearts. The media outlets continue to be the domestic enemy of our country, brainwashing the uneducated (and sadly also the educated) to hate anyone who is republican and voted for Trump
It's amazing how the media has taken so many in hook, line and sinker. And your point about the educated hits home with me. I know quite a few lawyers -- which means that they had to get into law school and were educated on analyzing facts and critical thought -- who just repeat media BS without any consideration for truth, or logic, or realism.David_Puddy said:
