Saw a post that her husband is a well established partner/attorney somewhere in town. I have no doubt they have been paying top dollar on damage control, internet scrubbing, and getting a team of attorneys to imply pressure where they can.

They're a doctor/attorney liberal West U fam combo… it's not like they don't have any resources. I would expect them to mount a big boy defense (quietly and behind the scenes). But i would think their inner circles and the medical establishment she's engrained in don't really GAF about what she said and that entire apparatus is just waiting for the blow over. Wouldn't be surprised if they go after low hanging fruit they can to prove a point on.

I have a question regarding this very subject. During a press conference today, Trump was asked about Epstein, but used the flooding tragedy to avoid addressing the questions asked about Epstein. With Epstein being such a huge topic and something needing to be done about him and his clients, would Trump using the tragedy as a wall be considered politicizing it?

Lots of people are swallowing the talking point that Kerr county denying ARPA grants for sirens from Biden led to this.

Anyone that thinks sirens would have prevented this is living in fantasy land. A siren doesn't tell you a 40 foot wall of water is coming.

I am not blaming sirens or saying any of this flood was truly stoppable...


But i am in NB and Sequin all the time. I pay attention when that siren goes off...even during the weekly tests.
