Lots of layers here depending on where her other actions fall. Just saying hateful things online should be protected and not be put in jail for them. But, harming patients because of political beliefs could put you in jail, or at a minimum lose your license to practice. Being unethical and posting hateful content will cost you your job and potentially board certification, but I would guess the pediatric board is comprised of mostly liberals. She deserves whatever comes her way.

thats more than likely exactly what will happen if her license is revoked. Govt intervention usually just further radicalizes people.

Man that is tough to hear. As a father, all you can really do is continue to pray for her and hopefully she will eventually see the light. I'm also assuming that whatever either of them posted wasn't nearly on the level of this child doctor......or at least I hope not. I've seen a few people that I'm friends with Monday morning QBing on how this could have been prevented but luckily none of them have gone to the extreme of "you deserve this if you voted for Trump." I would think giving exact instructions to people on how to commit fraud would be grounds for suspending the license of a doctor. Way more than just political speech. Closer to yelling "FIRE" in a crowded theater, which is not protected by free speech.
