They need to get some sort of media out soon for this movie. It comes out in 7 months and all we've got is one crappy picture that got memed in 10 seconds. Nobody I know outside of this message board among my group of friends who typically would be down to go see a movie like this even know it's coming out.
After Superman's painful last few appearances - BvS, Justice League, Black Adam cameo, it's weird they aren't giving people something to get excited about.
We've entered the two-week window where the first trailer will drop any day now. It's ready to go, and initial rumors had it debuting today at CCXP Brazil. Those plans seem to have been scrapped, though (if they ever existed in the first place), and reading the tea leaves now, my guess is it doesn't hit next week but rather the week at some point prior to the 20th. Either way we're close, and WB/DC obviously have a ton riding on the movie. They've said 2025 will be "the year of Superman" marketing-wise, so there's been no need to advertise until production wrapped and the dust has settled on some of their other projects. Now, with Creature Commandos also releasing this past Thursday, they're finally/officially going all-in on the new DCU, and the ramp up has begun.
