In what way did the trailer look like "ass"?
You just seem like a miserable person.
I don't know. It just didn't look good in my opinion. How does that make me a miserable person.

Well we'll see. Doesn't matter; lots of terrible movies had promising trailers and a few great movies had awful trailers.
My prediction for the fallout show's plot is "in a world in which nearly everybody is dead, and most of the people still alive are zombies, cannibals, or psychopathic murderous drug addicts (fiends), the real problem is rich people stomping on the little guy and holding back #GirlBosses." Which, I expect, will make for a dog meat (lol) show.
Fallout stands up there with The Last of Us among the best game adaptations ever made. Brilliantly constructed, its three distinct leads travel through cleverly linked storylines that build to a fantastic finale.

I get what you are saying and I think Hollywood is interjecting a lot of unnecessary story lines into entertainment and I think this will be the plot.
But this story is often a frequent plot point of the games. From the Overseers in the Vaults and Gizmo in Fallout 1 to Vault City, New Reno, and the Enclave in Fallout 2. This is most of the story in New Vegas. Fallout has always had "political" themes to it.
In the games you can play as a female character, so even the "boss girl" vibe can be true depending on how you played.
The key to me is if it can tell these stories with the wry edge the games managed. Plus from the trailer it looks like this vault dweller is going to have a pretty rough time at it and suffer for her victories.
I just want it to be good and entertaining.

However, this seems to also be a show with 3 main points of view, so we should get to see a lot of great stuff.

Makes you seem like one.
Well that does not bode well for her watching then. My wife said as graphic as the game is, it is a diff level watching it when it is not a game. I on the other hand enjoyed how they stayed true to it.Bregxit said:Showed my wife the trailer so I am on pause until she decides if she is watching with me or not. Two strikes against it with the rad roaches and Goggins' noseless ghoul face.n_touch said:
Just watched Episode 1. Fallout is my fav game and so far they have done it justice.

Just finished episode 1. Other than the ridiculous "they" crap, i thought it captured everything I'm looking for.
They really made the Knights seem even more badass than the game does. I just hope they don't make Maximus a deer in headlights wimp for the entire show. Way to much like Fin from Star Wars.
The opening scene was great, the tone is spot on, all the Easter eggs have been awesome.
On to Ep2. I'm in for the binge. Let's see how late I stay up!
