Maybe she can be Rey's love interest

Tomorrow's episode is called "Replacements" and appears to be the debut of Fennec Shand.

Replacements is a particularly good episode of Band of Brothers.

Was the female soldier supposed to be Fennec? I was thinking it was going to end up being someone from one of the newer video games.

Me trying to figure out how the Bad Batch characters will fit into the future Star Wars universe

Good soldiers follow orders.

That was a pretty dark turn for a cartoon on Disney+, and much applauded by me.

The new elite force looked like the templates available when you create a new character on Knights of the Old republic. White guy with short hair, white guy with crazy hair, sort-of Asian woman, angry black woman.

Seeing Omega be able to figure out what the creature was after definitely lends towards some Force tendencies; that scene very much paralleled Ray healing the big serpent on Pasaana in Episode IX.

I wonder if they'll address if she's a classic clone who ages at double the rate of a normal person, or an unaltered clone like Boba Fett. If it's the former and the show ran more than a couple of seasons, she'd be a grownup quickly.

I wonder if Wrecker smacking his head was just so he could stay behind and build her room or will it develop in into his chip malfunctioning as well. That guy on the loose would be a 24/7 problem.

I really dig the Kaimnoans being a third side to this show and being all about the business end, playing the long game. Letting the Bad Batch escape and if they continue wreaking havoc that the Empire can't stop would have the Empire reconsidering not using clones anymore.

The Empire needs to get some better intel sources on Gerrera. They keep looking for Saw in Onderon places.

Glad we didn't get more space spiders... hate those things.

Wrecker's headaches are absolutely going to be tied into the inhibiter chips degrading or something... which will send the team back to Kamino in search of a fix and another confrontation with Crosshair.

I don't think they'll make Omega force-sensitive, but I could be wrong. I bet she just picks up skills quickly or has some sort of advanced intuition or something.

Loved the episode. Honestly I think I'm the most intrigued about the development of what's taking place with the Empire. Clearly we're going to have more and more development with human stormtroopers as well as the Kaminoans and their adjustments to no longer being needed by the empire.

Oh and I'm calling it now.....not sure what the details are going to be but the Bad Batch squad is going to go the route of Rogue One and end up all dying in the end giving themselves up for the Rebellion....

Do we have a new canon explanation for what must be the demise of Kamino? In the old canon, Starkiller/Galen Marek destroyed it. It's obviously not around by the time we get to the classic era.

I bet we're building to Clone Force 99 destroying the cloning program.

For some reason I was thinking it is a similar situation to what the empire did to Geonosis, but that's probably just me getting things mixed in my brain and speculating.

well, we know that some of them are still around from the Mandalorian.

maybe the records of them get erased again, like they were from the Jedi archives prior to AOTC.

There aren't any other Kaminoan clone armies running around, I guess is my point.

Good confirmation that they're after Omega, not necessarily the Bad Batch.

Pretty sure they didn't get any food or fuel before they left, so the next episode should be them dead in space.

What I'm really digging thus far is seeing the transition from clones to stormtroopers. Didn't even realize that was something I wanted to see until this series.

Also, lol at the planet name "Pantora". Wonder where they got that from...

Good question. At least based on the name, one safe assumption is she's the last clone ever made.

I'm liking the series and the animation, but I'm starting to notice how this show drifted into a familiar pattern. See if you can recognize it?

Our hero (or heroes in this case), are coming to grips with major changes, both personal and in their worldview, and they come in possession of a special child who is chased by a bounty hunter(s) hired by cloners. The Child is experiencing things for the first time and gets in trouble while doing it.

I'm sure they are going to expand from this theme somewhat, (such as the new Empire starting its crackdown) but this filler episode was straight out of the Mando storybook.

Ranger fans you're not dreaming! The Rangers are the World Series Champions!

100% agreed. It feels very Mandalorian thus far.

I get the feeling we'll get one major reveal in the final episode though, maybe something to do with how the first Palp clone was created. (Rey's father.)

Another thought I had is if Omega ages regularly, she might pop up in the Boba Fett series.

Edit: Nevermind, I see Rey's father was born 4 ABY, so that's still far off.

I'd tap the brake on who hired Fennec. We see her speaking into a comm, that's it. We don't know who is on the other end. We never found out who hired IG-11 to go after Grogu either, except that they wanted him dead.

My main gripe so far has been that Hunter seems to get his ass handed to him a lot for being an elite clone.

Seeing the people of that planet cheer the clone/storm troopers was cool. Most of the core worlds probably felt the same way about the Empire - just a new name on a familiar face. we won!

Lot of cliches in this one.

Dock guy who will turn a blind eye if you pay
Immediately betrays you
Kid sees something cute/interesting and wanders off to get lost
Someone hanging from a ledge
High speed(er) chase
Get away in the nick of time
Bounty hunter vows to find them

I really hope Omega doesn't become like the early seasons of Carl from The Walking Dead.

My son is going through the Clone Wars, and it's cool to see some things that are showing up in Bad Batch. We're watching the episode where Rex first meets Cut on Saleucami.

When these characters show up in the newer shows, I rarely remember them. It's been, what, 10+ years since the early seasons of clone wars?

agreed I'm just curious what direction it goes when it happens....cause it could go redemptive and positive or it could go really sad.....they've been somewhat building up the relationship between Wrecker and Omega and also him being the big fun character.....they could have him die in the show and they've already shown they don't mind killing characters in Star Wars
