Glad to know what happened to Kamino and tie together some of the clone plot lines.

Who were the three clones that the Ghost crew found fishing for Tremors in that pre-AT-AT?

Um, are you talking about Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe?

I couldn't remember if Rex was part of that crew. It's been a while but I thought them showing up is what brought those clones into the Rebellion. But didn't we have Rex rebelling up earlier this season? (With Rebels being set several years after BB)?

Yes, that's at least the implication, though not alot of detail. I've got no doubt more of Rex's story will be revealed over the course of the bad batch.

Have we met Wolf outside of rebels, yet?

Holy crap that was awesome!!! All the empty shots of Kamino right before the Empire starting destroying it was a really nice touch.

And all the reveals with Crosshair leave a ton of questionswhen do we think his chip was removed and why would the empire have allowed it?

After the Empire started "enhancing" the effect? Maybe as part of his recalibration the Empire took it out (or ruined it)? Hell, I don't even remember when the Batch found out about he chips. In the pilot, right?

i can't remember if it was the pilot or when Rex first shows up early on and they fix Wrecker

When Rex showed up, they already knew about them. Tech thought their "defects" protected them from it. Maybe Omega told them about it?

then yes it must've been in the pilot

Yeah Tech Theorized in the first episode in their barracks, talked about the Clones conditioning and how they were programed. He then stated that due to their genetic abnormalities and Echo's treatment at the hands of the TechnoUnion they were left immune to the conditioning. Then the Kaminoions confirmed that due to their mutations they were more resistant than immune. Omega confirmed later in the season about the Chips.

When Hunter looked at Crosshair's scar from the burns I took that as a sign the chip was removed when they had to patch Crosshair up.

we don't know yet. Could be. The takeaway there was it was impossible to tell if Crosshair was telling the truth or not because the burn mark from earlier this season covered up where the scar would be.which would mean if his chip was removed it was before he was burned early this season.

I believe we're going to end back on that junkyard planet where the Bad Batch had been earlier this season and got their chips removed with Rex..I think they try to go there to determine if Crosshair is telling the truth or not and we'll end up getting a big reveal then.

Honestly I think we end up seeing 'ole Darth Vader himself even if briefly

I had wondered if Omega would become Qi'ra early on. Only watched the first few episodes so this could be dumb guess now.

Although the real ending of Rogue One was way better, I always envisioned Vader pursuing the Jyn's crew as they try to escape with the plans and taking them out one by one despite their best efforts.

Would dig a Bad Batch series finale that shakes out the same way, where all of them are basically the last line of defense to delay Vader from snuffing out something that ultimately leads to the creation of the Rebellion. Maybe like the first big clandestine meeting of Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, and the other earlier Rebellion leaders, one you could have Princess Leia attending as a child. Vader figures it out and is closing on their location as they try to escape, and Rex and his guys, along with the Bad Batch are acting as security/scouts for the meeting.

Rex and his boys lead the Stormtroopers off on a wild goose chase that ultimately ends in them landing where we find them in Rebels. The Bad Batch uses all their gadgets and strategy and unorthodox strategies to hold Vader off. I'd like to see Wrecker's brute force against Vader's Force powers in particular.

Not sure how Omega would tie into it all. But what else is new? I guess she can grow up and marry Ezra.

just not getting into this much.

really didnt get into rebels either.

clone wars was about half filler, but it did close out with the best star wars content maybe ever.

im hoping this comes alive at some point, but i havent seen much of anything interesting yet.

the subject matter could be great - discovering all the ways the empire took control, etc., but so far its just a kid and a bunch of has-beens on the run with not much direction.

Wreckers physical strength is no match for the dark side of the force.

maybe, they are naturally more for kids i expect.

i never watched any of them for that reason, then someone told me to check out clone wars and i did.

i just found the last few episodes of clone wars to be such a good surprise, i was hoping this would be as good.

i dont hate it, just not living up to clone wars.

Clone Wars was less than good when it started, and most of Rebels season 1 kind of sucked, too. They both got better. I think this one will, as well.

So, the finale went kind of how I thought. There's going to be a couple of interesting things to see where they go next season. I don't remember how to do spoiler tags, so I'll leave it there until later.

As to the format, I think airing this as a part two was a mistake and the finale parts should have been combined to make one large episode. Overall I have enjoyed the first season even if I thought a couple of the episodes were pointless. The season in a lot of ways reminds me of Rebels' first season.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I agree. I wonder if we will see some Snokes walking around next season

Combining part one and two of the finale into one would have been better - good point. I wonder how it would feel, then, during a binge. It was so much about taking in the emotional impact of Kamino being destroyed.

The Empire didn't just destroy the Kaminoian cloning facilities, they must have genocided Kaminoians, right?

I'm liking how they're making cloning this thread between the prequels, The Mandolorian, and the sequels. Hopefully this sets up Dave Filoni to make the concepts of the sequel not suck like he did with the prequels.

Overall this was a pretty good episode and a good ending to this first season. Really glad they didn't end it with Crosshair joining back with a happy ending because this should get even more interesting with season 2.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Idk, I just can't get there, yet.

I actually liked the story and direction of the prequels, but the execution? Blah. Imagine an episode 1 without Jar Jar. And yes, the Clone Wars did an amazing job filling the gaps and validating some of the question marks.

But sequels were a true WTF story for me and I just don't think can be saved. Maybe Disney will take a note from Marvel and write it off as an alternate universe.

They need to do a Lucasfilm's What If series.

What if Indy was never in RotLA - (it would have ended up the same).
What if jar jar tripped and died on his first appearance
What is the sequel trilogy was never made
What if stormtroopers were actually proficient with their weapons
What if Luke and Leia consumated a physical relationship before they learned they were brother and sister, and had a super-force jedi baby

What if Jar Jar was the Sith Master and the Emperor was the apprentice the whole time.
