Also, standing ovation? Are you sure it wasn't just people leaving?
I've never seen a standing ovation in a movie theater in my life.

Have experienced maybe three standing ovations in a movie theater before. You can definitely tell the difference.
Honestly kind of overwhelmed by The Batman. Really dug it. Kind of amazed how hard the whole thing committed to just being fuckin grimy. can’t wait to watch it five more times

Watched The Batman today and it is undoubtbly amazing. Stunningly shot and acted, this has to be one of if not my favorite batman movie of all time (have to rewatch tdk to decide properly). Paul Dano absolutely stole the show for me but the whole cast rocked it. 9.5/10. Cinema pic.twitter.com/ZqLasW0XLX

The Batman is pure, ambitious bliss.

Robert Pattinson nails it, Colin Farrell is unrecognizable and Matt Reeves has crafted one of the finest detective stories ever put on screen.
Despite it's hefty 3-hour run time, this is yet another thunderous winner for DC.

Just got out of #TheBatman and it was absolutely stunning. One of the best comic book movies of all time and a proper rival to the dark knight. pic.twitter.com/s2exLOr1Ho

#TheBatman is a thrilling experience that delves into the psyches of Bruce Wayne in a way that is unique and highly satisfying. Paul Dano is disturbing as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz is my favorite iteration of Catwoman. See this movie in a theater with the best sound quality!

#TheBatman gave me everything that's been missing from previous movies and elevates every other aspect. It wasn't just a 3 hour crime story, it was an entire graphic novel come to life with Robert Pattinson absolutely nailing Batman.

THE BATMAN is undeniably a film. Brimming with a score, cinematography, and performances, it’s a motion picture made by a team of filmmakers that can irrefutably be described as existent. Truly one of the films 2022 has to offer. #TheBatman

Didn't Suicide Squad lose money?AgfromHOU said:
The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker were considered hits, and ZSJL was on of the top streaming movies last year (movies that debuted on streaming, not theater movies moved to streaming). Recency bias says that DC has been doing well for the last 7 months.
