She is a gorgeous woman. I saw The Outsiders but only once when it first came out, so I really don't remember her in that one. I do recall her in a political thriller she made with Wesley Snipes, what was it, Murder at 1600 I think.GiveEmHellBill said:
It's Diane Lane. I've had a movie-star crush on her since "The Outsiders." I mean, look at her in that interview: she is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.
She can say whatever she wants and I wouldn't care. Plus, she's likely only speaking the truth.
at some point you have to accept that WB will screw it up given their track record.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:
I will make up my mind on JL only after I see it, not 6 months before it releases.

That's a pretty good point. Gadot,at least, couldn't have shot much, if anything at all, due to her pregnancy.
At the risk of creating a slight derail ... WB has what I consider a 1-game losing streak with Suicide Squad. I did enjoy BvS but will not say it was any where near a great movie ... MoS was the opening of this "universe" and I thought that one went pretty well.Flashdiaz said:at some point you have to accept that WB will screw it up given their track record.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:

They had the most identifiable superheroes and managed to make boring and predictable stories... average at best. They are the longhorns of movie making... they do less with more.
Too much credit? I just stated that what is probably considered the best of DC's movies might slip into a top 10 ranking that includes all of Marvel's mostly superior movies and that's too much credit?fig96 said:
I feel like you're giving DC films far too much credit. Entertaining bits don't make up for lack of a coherent story.
Yes, I would agree generally that TIH > SS.AliasMan02 said:
TIH is probably the weakest Marvel film top to bottom, but its story makes sense and it has a ton of redeeming qualities. It runs circles around Suicide Squad.

For me the bottom line is what movies represent - entertainment. I am easily entertained. While I recognize problems in story or character or what-have-you, I am generally able to put that aside and just watch for the sake of watching.
In BvS, I think the Martha thing was the worst part of the movie. But I am able to just accept that at face value and move on to derive whatever level of enjoyment I can from the remainder of the movie.
