Blurring the lines of TV and movie and the rapid blur of release date schedules?

Not bad, but now I read "The End" + "ustry" for some reason. In agreement overall, though, that "The Industry" or a variation of it is decent, but probably last result.

As far as combined words go, I liked "Cinedex" (Cinema + Index), but A) it covers film only, and B) sounds a little too generic.

Thought about that. Could also just emphasize the "i" since the experience will all about the user.

I think The Industry is fine, but to be fair, everyone is in "The Industry". I'm an accountant in the grocery business, so everyone else in the grocery business is in "The Industry". Likewise for every other industry in the working world. To be honest, the movie business isn't really "industrial" either. -- All that said, I do like the name and think it would work fine.

Dang, spectacle.com is taken. It may too broad overall, but I like the ring of it. I do like playing around with "spec" though since covering the spec market and scripts will be a decent part of what we do.

Entertainment Index = Endex or Entdex (I can't decide if I love our hate how similar these sound to index )

Yeah, Cinedex is my favorite in that regard, but something about it still sounds lame to me. Though I do like it better than Endex or Screendex.

Look, I know these are all weird, but I think about some other blogs I read that have to do with entertainment ( "What would Tyler durden do", "warming glow", etc) and I think you have a chance to make this into a household name. I can see someone saying, "yeah, I read about this on 'gone with the screen'"
