A big Hunger Games account with like 35K followers has been following me for a while, and they've been giving me updates on any potential trailer news. They retweeted it, and then a Jennifer Lawrence account with 95K followers retweeted it, and it just exploded from there. Crazy.

I actually kind of enjoyed maze runner. Seemed like an interesting world to play in from a movie perspective even if it got a little convoluted at the end

The amount of YA movies is getting sort of ridiculous. Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner, and now Paper Towns (which I had to look up)...

Then again, non-comic book nerds are probably saying the same thing about superhero movies.

I think it's partly because of the amount of adults that read these series now. harry potter started it, I think. (which was genuinely good story telling) and it's progressed to every half-decent book series getting turned into a movie franchise (hunger games, i'm looking in your direction).

Agree that HP started it, and when Twilight was such a huge success, everyone just tried to copy the formula. Write a YA book series, and no matter how mediocre or bad it is, if you make it a movie, it'll be a smash hit.

To be fair, I've really enjoyed the Hunger Games movies. (The first two at least.)

I think the key with the YA movies, is if the subject matter has enough serious issues in it, and the movie is made well enough, the adults dont mind taking the kids as much.

Yeah, pretty cool. Nice to hopefully be featured in something that isn't a movie blog. I'm sure I'll just be one aspect of a much broader thing, but still. Definitely feels like it'll legitimize the site a bit more.

Yeah, not like a project-defining moment for missing it, but with a little planning, you definitely could have been out there with some friends just hustling like everyone else is down there. **** just thrown at you from all angles on the streets, in the venues, etc.

Yeah, I actually have another venture brewing I'll tell everyone about here in the next couple of days, which has been taking up a ton of time, so I wouldn't have even been able to make the trip anyway. That, and the site isn't where I want to be yet, so I don't think I'd even want to really push the current version in that way. Next year I'll be in a lot better position to do so, though.

I totally forgot about that! And yeah, absolutely. Once I get the next version of the site up and running I'll hit you up about those contacts. Would be a huge help.

"Announcing" hopefully tomorrow. On some levels it's way bigger than The Projection List, in other ways it's not. Kind of hard to explain without getting into it. Just waiting for the web designer to put the finishing touches on the site, which is super simple and really doesn't have much do with the concept overall, though. Will explain the second it's ready.

Ha, just FYI, it's not related to The Projection List at all. It is, however, movie-related, and something you guys can potentially take part in. Kind of. If my guy would hurry up and just fix one tiny thing on the site I can formally announce/explain it.
