I'm sure Lewis is very concerned about this as he walks by the trophy display in Brackley.

Not so fast my friend. 3 place grid drop for overtaking in the pit lane during Q1. Sucks for Hulk

Hadjar needs to get his temper under control. Quite literally cost himself the title.

Entertaining season this year. Hoping Ferrari can finally win a championship again next season.

Piastri completes every lap for just the fourth time in F1 history. (Despite his efforts to ruin that today)

My favorite part of that image that I've found so far is Lawson giving the double birds and how small they drew Yuki.

They have the lost COTA trophies in the court room and guys trying to add water to the tire…. This year end image is really well done

I saw the adding water to the tire, but didn't know what that was referring to. And what's the deal with the COTA trophies?
SydB92

Apparently Red Bull had explored how to add moisture in the tires to help with cooling a few years ago which is illegal. They thought they saw water drops on tires rims for McLaren and another team around Singapore I think.

The COTA trophies looked like Mickey Mouse so that magically disappeared before the podiums and replaced with generic trophies.

I just realized the appendix surgery top right was AM and Stroll try to give him some luck.

Gasly for driver of the season.

He is criminally underrated and I will always believe that he deserves another shot at a top team. Red Bull should've gone after him to replace Checo.

Gasly is living up to Red Bull thought he would be. They just moved him up too early. Consequence of Daniel leaving unexpectedly.

Finally back home from Abu Dhabi. Without a doubt, top 3 F1 weekend I've had. I was able to be in the F2 paddock/MP Motorsports garage on Saturday. Got to see pretty much everyone in F2/F1 Academy as well as some faces that were there to support friends (like Ralph Boschubg, Clement Novalak) and some drivers that got there early for testing like Pato O'Ward, Gabriele Mini, Roman Stanek. Sadly Alex Dunne got there on Monday when I left so I never saw him lol.

A lot of drivers from those series told me their plans so the F2 announcements that began yesterday I already knew of lol. F1 Academy I know of about half the grid as well, some are still being signed and I saw some of the younger F4 drivers there (there as a F4 UAE trophy round) talk to F1 Academy staff already for 2026 and onwards.

I will say Abu Dhabi is a perfect track. It's modern, the grandstands offer a lot of views and not just the track in front of you, and the fireworks were absolutely insane. Like 4 minutes of nonstop fireworks. Weather was great as well, hot in the day but gets cooler at night but I was in shorts and t-shirt and never felt cold.

Track action for F1 Academy was phenomenal, this track really really suit the F4 cars. They had actual racing here because of that. F2 finale was unfortunately a mess due to Hadjar stalling and his championship being over from the first lap. I talked to some drivers on Sunday and they all mentioned how the stalling has always been an issue for years (they don't have anti stalling, F3 and F1 Academy can don't either).

Only bad thing was the taxi wait at the end of the night, I really hope in future years they expand shuttles/buses to take you back to Abu Dhabi, but the taxis were cheap anyway, it was just the 2-3hr wait on saturday that was brutal.

Unsure of when I will come back but I definitely will, but planning on 2025 now. My aim is to do Miami, Zandvoort, Monza, Austin, and Las Vegas.

Thoughts on Max Estersson? He's a sim racing turned real life racer from New York but won FF1600 championship. Unfortunately he's 22 so I'm not sure if he'll be in an age window.

I saw him there just didn't drop the selfie here lol. He was pretty decent in F3 this year considering he wasn't in a good team. Unsure who his backers are but I could see him end up with a year similar to Joshua Durksen this year

If you go again, take the big shuttle bus to the mall and get a taxi from there.

That's what I did, but the taxi queue at the mall was that long on Saturday after Eminem. I got back at like 1:50 AM. It wasn't that bad on Sunday after Muse.

I think Eminem was just too popular. Those wristbands were gone in the afternoon.

That's what happened after Qualification for us. Took forever, so we made sure to get out quick after the race. We were also motivated to go since we had a plane to catch.
