We ended up with a bad situation with about 7-8 400m runners and then long hurdlers who can run a leg on the relay (McCray and Smith).
I guess he was not happy of being redshirted.
I also think their might be some contention of who make the travel team, who was selected to go Bahamas etc.

This is his third school in at least five years. He also said nothing about transfer portal. I would think he'd be running out of eligibility at this point.
Don't know how the scholarships are allocated, but we do have so many 400 runners! No horizontal jumpers and few short sprinters
Are we going to run Bryan Clay next weekend too?

I'd love for her to come here but I don't think that will happen! TRM is right, some leading schools as of now are Oregon, Virginia, Stanford, UCLA, and Notre Dame. However she still does follow Coach McRaven on social media so maybe communication will take place! I'm hoping she wants to be close to home, that's what led to her to choosing OK State! We'll see!

Any coach that doesn't unlock what makes the individual machine tick is a bad coach and has no business running an elite program. Why is this even an issue? Natalie dropped from 18 to 16:30 between her junior and senior years, and became the #1 XC athlete in the country. Only an egotistical fool would mess with that mojo.

Not sure where to ask this but here. Looking for someone that might be able to give my daughter pointers that is a coach or athlete that does triple jump and maybe some other general track pointers . I see they have the A&M track camp, but think that covers a bit much possibly. She is just trying to figure our her niche and seems to do better at 200-800m and triple jump so far. Pointers on triple jump would benefit her the most, but also anything on the 200-800m.

Easiest way is to find a local track club that offers coaching like Northwest Flyers for NW Houston.
Yeah like TRM said, a lot of cities have summer clubs or summer track teams that specialize in track and compete in the summers! A lot of them will be found on Facebook as well!

Track and Field News has updated their NCAA Championship Track and Field prognostications. Longtime "track nuts" Jack Pfeifer (women) and Dave Johnson (men) make their latest predictions of how things will go down in early June in Austin.
The women are "predicted" to tie for eighth with fellow SEC rival Kentucky scoring 30 points. Scoring for the Age are the following:
400: Jermaisha Arnold, 4th. Tierra Robinson, 5th
4X1, 7th
4X4, 3rd
High Jump Lamara Distin WINNER
Javelin, Lianne Davidson 8th
(non scorer, but 9th in pole vault, Heather Abdie

4x400m - I expect the Aggies to score in the 4x400m. They haven't put it together yet but I know they will surprise many.
High Jump - Ushan Perera - If he competes at SEC he is certain to score for us. He was listed on the Arizona Desert meet heat sheet last week but was a Non starter. Hope he is fully cleared to compete,
