Oh wow! I thought he was primarily a 400 guy??? Interesting to see his potential in the 800 and how are staff plans to develop him!

A few of the guys have told me that Clay's not with the team anymore. Makes for a really, really young 800 group, especially with Miller going pro.

Darn! Really bummed things never clicked for him on the track here! He came here with huge PR's and never was able to come close to that here! I wonder if he was battling injuries, could never adjust, or if those times were flawed!!! Either way I wish him well!

Whitmarsh will be one of the best in the nation, I'm excited to see the growth of Caden Norris and excited to see if Joshua English is ready to roll and give us 3 1:48 guys or lower

Caden's hamstring issue in the spring might be a good thing for him long term. He's had an Achilles issue that's bugged him since his senior cross country season in 2019, and this finally gave that time to heal.

Caught up with him at the home meet in October and he's feeling as good as he has in a while. I'd bet he and Whitmarsh have a big year.

We are basically into December and still no roster posted yet.

VERY WEIRD INDEED! NO ROSTER , NO RESULTS, NO NEWS ABOUT SIGNEES, ….NOTHING!!!

That's true, we didn't get a press release on the signing class!!! I totally miss that! Wow our media dept is behind so much! Other schools social media teams have been ahead of us for a long while! But maybe there's still some big names yet to be released or mid year headlining transfers coming in that they are waiting to share

With the start of the indoor season this weekend and having to wait for the roster and the Aggies first competition on Jan 13th, let's look at the women sprinters PBs going into the indoor season.

Can't wait to see the improvement of our sprinters and see how they perform this year! Losing Laila Owens and Charokee Young can hurt, but hopefully ours girls progressed and the transfers shine!

I have zero clue how Floreal keeps these pro prospects coming back year after year! Money has to be involved, there's no way! These girls are pro runners but keep running competitively and in a weak conference! It makes zero sense! Our top girls always seem to go pro so we at least have that!

Since our opening track meet at Arkansas scheduled for last week was cancelled, the track team is hosting an intersquad meet running 4x400m at 3.00pm tomorrow at the A&M Cushing outdoor track and is open to the public.
If there is anyone in the area that could attend and give us updates will be greatly appreciated. i don't expect much from our social media platforms

I've heard this is going to be very bare bones. Pretty much a glorified practice. I'd bring a watch if you want to know how fast they run.

A time trial open to the public and a few field events with 3 attempts, better than nothing lol! But yes someone please give us updates!

And ofc the track social media team goes silent over an OPEN INTRASQUAD SCRIMMAGE

Breaking news, I don't think our fastest sprinter is coming back! He's chosen a more lucrative career path!

Any results, observations or thoughts from yesterday's practice meet would be GREATLY APPRECIATED…ANYTING!

I heard a pair of the guys relays ran 3:07 each and Hemphill split 45 high. Dickson won the 200 in 23.0. One of the Incarnate Word guys won the 200 in 20.7. Keep in mind these were all hand times though.

I knew the Aggie track social media would not give any updates on the intrasquad meet.
But then why would send out a press release on the intrasquad meet but then have nothing further to say about some of the highlights of the meet.
Even if they didn't want to give details of the results of the meet, at least indicate that the meet was a success and indicate which events we competed and some of the better performers.
Again it was open to the public so the results should be no secret anyway

Wow! 2 groups running 3:07 this time of the year is awesome! I'm still hoping when Auhmad Robinson comes he can boost that relay! If he's in shape! Great to see! Also nice for Camryn Dickson! Thanks for sharing!

Here is a link to a YouTube video posted by Tierra Robinson Jones where she shows some videos from the inter squad meet, the 200's and 4x400 and includes a speech from Pat Henry at the end! Turns out the girls ran a 3:37 and 3:38 and 3:40 as well!! Kennedy Wade looked extremely strong as did Tierra and Jermaisha Arnold! On the guys side, Ashton Schwartzman and Chevannie Hanson battled it out hard on the first leg and the future Eric Hemphill and Demarco Escobar ran hard as well with nice closing legs by Sam Whitmarsh, Cutler Zamzow, and James Smith! The 200 women looked really good, specifically Camryn Dickson and Camille Rutherford, with Semira Killebrew right behind! Those 3 can make a solid sprint relay possibly with Jania running a curve! They didn't announce the men's names though!

I know he's still training with us, but not sure about eligibility! I hope he can still run!

Don't know the distance, but Ethan Sanders won the shot put and discus. He has the size so adjusting to the heavier implements should be easier! Hopefully the distances were there!

Did I hear right Charokee Young was running one of the legs on the girls 4x4?

I thought she went pro.

She did run! But she is a pro runner now, just training here! On her relay was Deshae Wise who also ran pro and Kendra Chambers a pro 800 runner who is training here as well!
