I think a win a line 6 will be crucial for our chances. A healthy Mireles could be the difference maker in our progress throughout the tournament. Pielet will have to come alive, too. She has so much potential so I can see why he leaves her in at line 5. A few good wins and she'll will get her confidence back I believe.

- it's fun to watch
- ITA rankings are bogus
- our team is exceptionally good

On ncaa.com: "The 2022 NCAA Division I women's tennis championship selections will be announced at 6:30 p.m. ET on Monday, May 2, right here on NCAA.com. The 2022 championship will be at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Illinois, from May 19 to May 28."

There are no byes. As a top 8 seed we will host 2 rounds next weekend, probably Friday and Saturday, and if we win those 2 rounds host the Sweet 16 round the weekend of May 13-15.

Baylor plays Washington in the other match here. 9 SEC teams made the tournament: Auburn a 13 seed, Georgia 14 and Florida 16.

At one point in the season their #1 doubles team was ranked #1 in the nation. I think we will win, but it's not going to be a cake walk.

Baylor will be tough but we will beat them at home. I actually think Baylor will be tougher than Ohio State at home in 90s weather. For once it's a blessing not to have indoors. The match will be played outdoors.

ITA is crap and our seeding is garbage but I think we dodged a bullet. We match up better with OU than t.u.

LSU coaches were fired and surely they will make a run at Weaver (or Szabo if they can't get Mark). Bjorn Bjork better be ready to pay up.

This will be the first time a Mark Weaver coached team has hosted the NCAA tournament. We have advanced to the Sweet 16 3 of the 5 previous appearances including a win at Baylor in 2017 and at tu in 2019.
