Should host the 1st 3 rounds. The NCAA's will host the Elite 8 and up. This year Illinois will be hosting the NCAAs. I am hoping we get a top 8 seed.

NCAA bracket is announced May 2 with the first and second rounds the weekend of May 6-8. Cannot see any way that we are not a top 8 seed and if we win the first 2 rounds will play here the following weekend. Make your plans to be here those weekends. Does anyone have any info on when the team is returning? Have not seen any flights from Gainesville on Flightaware coming into College Station.

lol - I get that, and I feel the BAS as well. BUT, we are ranked #3 in two polls; I would assume we will be top 5 in the ITA this Thursday. We are 30-1 with the best record in the NCAA from what I can tell. I'm not sure how they can ignore that, but I guess stranger things have happened!

#6 unfortunately. The ITA ranking system is lazy, just like the ITA.

If the rankings hold and everyone takes care of business, we would get a grudge match rematch vs. Cal in the Sweet 16 and an Elite 8 Luke vs. Darth Vader matchup against the horns.

This is a special team with a definite shot to win it all but there are a lot of good teams out there and it's going to take an epic run.

Sure thing. I guess the NCAA doesn't have to go with the ITA's rankings. Not sure how that works. But based on history I would not expect them to do us any favors.

She'd be a fool not to. She's been injury-prone and bounced from school to school. Finally she's got smart coaches that are managing her conditioning & training smartly. She's a phenomenal talent but she could stand a year more of stability and she's still got plenty of room to improve physically could stand to take advantage of A&M's elite S&C program to get stronger.

And while personally I think Carson has a lot more talent and a higher ceiling than Peyton Stearns (t.u.), who probably will go pro after this season, I think Stearns is currently more mentally and physically ready to play 10 months per year of pro tennis.
