First deer at 6:12. Pretty cool younger 8 point. Walked the entire length of the far side of the field passing by my stand and a ground blind at less than 5 yards.

Young and dumb.

Just had a hog come out and make a circle behind the feeder and then go right back in the woods . Think he's just waiting for the feeder to go off in 3 minutes

Did you hunt this morning too? My friends that hunted this morning saw a lot of unwanted chasing by some young 6 and 8 points. Then got just a few glimpses of a bigger deer cruising inside the timber around 9:30am.

I'm definitely headed out in the morning. Supposed to be about 48* which is significantly cooler than we have been although still well above normal.

Saw a shooter this evening here in Van Zandt County. Hope he comes back tomorrow when it's legal.

Also had a doe sprint out in front of the car driving into town tonight.

Same here. 48* at 7am. Sunrise at 8:01.

Tomorrow is the last morning that I can sleep til 6 and still be in the blind an hour before the sun comes up.
