THWACK! Had 4 slick heads come out and one was a mean old gal. Kicking the fawns and chaining everything else off. She got an arrow, no pass through but looked good and immediately started pouring blood out.

I just double lunged a buck... Rattled him up to 25 yards and nearly blew it reading TA. He came in on a rope after my 3rd set.
He wasn't a brute but he's my first public land buck with a bow.
I saw him go down about 80 yards off but still gonna give him a little time. Whooooooooooooop!!!!

Sounds like everyone had a great morning. I saw about 40, I assume maybe 20-25 different deer and several of them multiple times. Had a good 8 that is on our hit list in view for 2 hours from 300yds all the way down to 50 but never got a shot. At one point he was fighting 4 little bucks off his doe and one of our bigger shooters came in and said MIND IF I DANCE WITH YO DATE? and promptly took his doe.
Just sittin in the cactus patch soakin it all in. I ain't in no big hurry.
I think I'd sit there for a while drinking bourbon, taking that scene in. Damn fine deer

A roamer indeed!!... A pretty good 8 for our part of worlld with lots of hunters next door and low fences. Came in around 8:30 looking for does.... Never had him on a cam at all since August.
'17 and '20 are looking forward to thier hunts over Thanksgiving.
Congrats to all who had a kill today.

Today was great. Had 2 hunters kill a spike and 2 does a piece. They both said there were probably 25-30 does at each feeder. Which is entirely too damn many. Going back out this afternoon to keep thinning em out.
