Mike Elko and the Fightin' Texas Aggies picked up a big-time addition to the class of 2027 as San Antonio Roosevelt offensive tackle Kaeden Scott has committed to Texas A&M. Scott is the 10th member of A&M's 2027 class and the second future Maroon Goon.

Tied 29-29 at halftime, Rylan Griffen was the difference as the Dallas native scored all of his 17 points in the second half as Texas A&M defeated Texas on Saturday evening in Austin. With the 74-70 victory, the Aggies snapped an 11-game losing streak inside the Capital City.

Former Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. A former 7-on-7 teammate of Marcel Reed in high school, the Nashville native has played in 44 career games, amassing 1,301 yards on 112 catches and has 14 receiving touchdowns.

Former Tennessee cornerback Rickey Gibson III has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. After missing most of 2025 with an injury, the 6-foot and 185-pound cover man will be expected to compete for a starting role in Aggieland.

Former Alabama offensive lineman Wilkin Formby has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. At 6-foot-7 and 325 pounds, he will come to College Station with two years of eligibility remaining after starting 14 games for the Crimson Tide in 2025.

Former Louisiana State offensive lineman Tyree Adams has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. At 6-foot-7 and 310 pounds, Adams comes to Aggieland with two years of eligibility remaining after making nine starts at tackle for the Tigers in 2025.

Former Colorado defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, Davis-Swain appeared in nine games and made eight starts for the Buffaloes this fall.

Former Illinois kicker David Olano has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. In two seasons with the Fighting Illini, Olano has connected on 37 of his 43 field goal attempts (86 percent) and has scored 193 points.

Former LSU offensive lineman Coen Echols has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. A former Aggie commit, the Katy product appeared in 18 games for the Bayou Bengals, including eight starts, and Echols comes to Aggieland with three years of eligibility remaining.

Former Colorado safety Tawfiq Byard has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. After beginning his collegiate career with the USF Bulls, Byard spent 2025 in Boulder, where he logged 79 tackles, forced a pair of fumbles, had an interception and recorded half a sack for the Buffaloes.

Former Tulsa linebacker Ray Coney has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. With 225 career tackles between his time at East Tennessee State and Tulsa, the 6-foot-2, 240-pounder will arrive in Aggieland with one year of eligibility remaining.

Former UTSA tight end Houston Thomas has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. A College Station native, he caught 78 passes for 918 yards (11.5 average) and five touchdowns across three seasons for the Roadrunners.

With over 30 years of experience in the college and NFL ranks, Mike Elko is elevating John Perry to wide receivers coach. The head coach at Merrimack from 2008-12, Perry came to Aggieland in 2025 after assistant roles at Rutgers, Sam Houston and the Houston Texans.

Early on Monday morning, the national champion Fightin' Texas Aggies returned from Kansas City to a warm welcome outside of Reed Arena from the 12th Man. Additionally, Jamie Morrison, Ava Underwood and Logan Lednicky addressed the crowd of supporters.

About 1,000 days ago, Jamie Morrison was hired by Texas A&M, and on Dec. 21, he led Aggie volleyball to the first national title in program history. Those who stayed combined with those who bought in are officially CHAMPIONS!

Mike Elko and Texas A&M are expected to hire Elijah Robinson to rejoin the defensive staff in Aggieland. After spending six seasons with the Aggies under Jimbo Fisher, Robinson was most recently the defensive coordinator at Syracuse in 2024 and 2025.
