Texas A&M softball took the series against No. 23 South Carolina on Saturday, run ruling the Gamecocks 10-2 at home. The Aggies secured the win after a grand slam from Kelly Martinez put the home team up 6-0 early in the game.

The Texas A&M softball team moved to 4-0 in the Davis Diamond Classic and 15-3 on the season after defeating Louisiana Tech and Montana in a doubleheader on Saturday. Makinzy Herzog had another great outing, going four for four at the plate on the day.

The Texas A&M softball finished its first three-game series with a 3-0 win on Sunday to finish the clean sweep of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The game was tied going into the sixth inning until Haley Lee's fifth home run of the year secured the Aggie victory.

After a long offseason, Texas A&M softball returned with an Opening Day doubleheader in the Texas A&M Invitational at Davis Diamond. The Aggies won the first game against Central Arkansas, 9-0, but lost the following game to Colorado State, 7-6.
