Garrett Kettle is a junior Sport Management major and Business minor from Round Rock, TX. He started at TexAgs in December of 2019 as a publisher and intern in journalism. He plans to pursue a master's degree in business and a career in sports journalism. He one day wants to cover college football as a sportswriter/analyst. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, good television, and hanging out with friends.
Aggies wrap up perfect weekend with 5-1 victory over St. John's
The hosts of the Texas A&M Invitational took care of business once again as the Aggies wrapped up a 5-0 weekend with a 5-1 win over St. John's on Sunday. Jo Evans and Co. hope to have found some momentum heading into next weekend's Mary Nutter Classic in California.

Aggie softball sweeps Saturday double-header against Lamar & Binghamton
On Day 2 of the Texas A&M Invitational, the Aggies improved their weekend record to 4-0 after defeating Lamar 7-4 and run-ruling Binghamton 10-2 in five innings. A&M will close out the tournament with a Sunday Showdown with St. John's.

Texas A&M's offense sputters as McNeese shuts out the Aggies, 1-0
Despite a stellar performance from Kayla Poynter in the circle, Texas A&M could not muster anything at the plate as the Aggies fell to McNeese in a two-hit shutout. Poynter tossed seven innings and allowed just one run on five hits, but was saddled with the loss.

Aggie softball handily beats ACU, loses a nail-biter to UTA in extra innings
Texas A&M played two different teams in day two of the Aggie Classic at Davis Diamond, finishing off the day's games with a 1-1 record. Despite convincingly beating Abilene Christian, the Ags allowed UT Arlington to mount a late comeback and win a heartbreaker.
