I would say after my 3rd dose. I felt terrible when I got here since my oxygen was down in the 70's, so that had a lot to do with how I felt for the first few days. What is your oxygen at?

Prayers and hang in there man. Am I correct to assume things are looking better as time goes by?

Yes, I am doing much better. Been able to get out of bed and sit in a chair for awhile. Going to try for a shower later. My oxygen levels have been holding good and the o2 is turned way down compared to a few days ago. Hoping and praying to be out of here this weekend.
ETA: thanks for the prayers and thoughts.

Good deal, that's not terrible at all compared to some of us upon arrival. You should respond well to treatment and hopefully be back home soon.

Not to derail your thread Rex, but I am currently laid at St. Joe's with Covid pneumonia. Tested positive on the 24th, started taking everything as suggested but it didn't help I guess. Hope you and jbob recover quickly. I am 47, with no health issues.

Sorry to hear what you're going through, sending prayers your way. Am positive it will be 3 for 3 of folks recovering fully in this thread.

Random question. Any recs on an at home oximeter to check levels? Probably something that would be good to have around considering this new world we live in.

When I was working home hospice, I just used the Walgreens brand one. It worked great.

My wife picked one up at Walgreens the other day as well. Seems to work ok. There are plenty on Amazon as well.

Just tested positive. 31 years old, got my first vaccine on the 11th and was supposed to get the 2nd this week. Got exposed this weekend.

Symptoms started as allergy symptoms but no meds would help. Temp got to 99.8 yesterday and was at 100.7 this morning when I woke up. Had some aches and light chills yesterday but not much today other than my cough has gotten a little worse. Took 10,000IU of Vitamin D3 yesterday since I work outside and probably get enough.

I am praying for you, Brother! God bless you and heal you! Don't worry about any "derails". We are together in our symptoms, but more importantly, our Faith In Jesus Christ!

Just stay on top of things. I started taking Revs supplements right away, took a liquid dose of Ivermectin on day 2, took human Ivermectin on day 4 and 5, took hydroxychloroquine for 3 days (PCP told me to stop due to blood in my sputum, started Symbicort inhaler and Levaquin. And here I sit with Covid pneumonia. Stay on top of thos o2 Sats. Mine started tanking on day 7/8. Once I couldn't keep it at 90%, I came to the ER. Praying for you to have a speedy recovery.

Go to FLCCC.net for their protocol. Praying for you. Lie on your stomach on the floor and for 7-5 minutes deep breathe. Try not to lie flat on your back and keep moving no matter how you feel.

Hate to see this thread growing, praying for all of y'all. When I was in for pneumonia I had the football game @ UCLA as icing on the cake while in the hospital. Hopefully Saturday is a little better for y'all. Well hopefully you're out

That stinks. I would try and claim hypertension or something haha...

Edit: Is having a comorbidity the only way to get it at all or is that the only way to have it covered / free of charge?

I don't really know. The first doc I saw said it may be an option. The second doc stated it would be left up to the Infectious Disease doc but he didn't think he would approve due to lack of comorbidities. There was even another medicine they were going to give me, but the ID doc said my oxygen demand wasn't high enough.

Honestly, being drugged up and in the hospital may have cushioned the blow. lol.

Great news. They took me for a walk this afternoon, and my O2 was at 94% during my walk and 97% after, with the oxygen bottle on 4%, I think it was. Has me hopeful of going home tomorrow.

I've gotten a lot of lists from different Drs for which supplements I should take and kind of taken a little from each, mostly because of what's available right now. Looks like my cocktail will be:

-Took 10,000IU yesterday to get it going

Daily I'll be taking:
Zinc 50mg SID
Vitamin C 500mg SID
Vitamin D 2,000IU BID
Quecertin (when it comes in from Amazon) prob 1000mg SID
Zyrtec and Flonase SID
Melatonin 10mg at night
Tylenol for the fever
