In a sense... That worked? IBB essentially. Fresh threw fewer pitches than any other inning and that shift cost us a grand total of 90 feet and one pitch

Honestly somewhat debatable if it's smart. Runner on first with 2 outs isn't the end of the world. Will get stranded there more often than not. Would rather that than a double. There's a reason teams are willing to give that up.

Nah…it was the right call for the situation. We're stagnant. Gotta try something to get things going. Problem is our two best hitters are putting on an absolute choke job so far tonight. Still a lot of ballgame left.
