Why? We had two chances with our two best hitters to tie the game. They choked, still was a good call

It protected against a DP. But with those 3 we had chances to tie the game without the free out too. Not sure means I don't know.

I am in no way an Early basher, but that sac bunt was dumb. He got schooled by a West coast coach and thought he'd try it. Problem is, for a west coast of to work, you need contact hitters. We're a mashing team and all we did was give up an out. The our top two continue their absence and are 0-6, which isn't a recipe for success.
