They just have to decide before classes start. That said, I would expect some to make decisions after the draft is over and those drafted make their decisions. This will let portal players see what positions are open where to give them the best chance at significant play time.

I am talking about Kent and the ones not going through the draft.
Yes. He will wait to see if Camarillo drafts amd goes. Or if the SS/2B drafts and goes at the other schools he is looking at. He will have to see who goes where to see what gives him the best opportunity at play time.

If Kent is wanting to play SS, then he might be waiting on Ali's decision after the draft. Ali signs with the pros, then Kent can move to SS.

Lots of hand-wringing here. It should not surprise you that the UW kids and TAMU kids are waiting to see what happens with other situations to see if things fall into place that benefits them. Kent's Dad is advising him, I'm very sure, to have patience, and leave his options open. Will this make TexAgs happy? No. I don't think you'll see Kent wind up at tu, but I'm betting there are other schools that have approached him that have a 2B / SS opening.
